Submission Guidelines

Fully Automated is currently accepting completed narrative prose short stories written in English and original artwork from across the galaxy. We are interested in any and all sci-fi art, not just writing. We are also accepting visual artwork for this publication.

The guidelines for submitting narrative prose short stories:  

• 1.5 spacing  

• 12-point font 

• Times New Roman or Comic Sans fonts. 

• The pieces must be at least 500 words and no more than 2500 words.

• If the piece contains any suggestive or violent imagery, we ask that it fall into one of three categories, fade to black, plot important, or non-gratuitous.  

• We will not accept excerpts from larger works, poetry, or any previously published works for this publication.

The guidelines for submitting artwork: 

• JPEGs can be no more than 12mg and between 2100 to 4200 pixels. 

• We prefer scanned images, but clear and well-lit pictures are also allowed.  

• If the artwork contains any suggestive or violent imagery, we ask that it follows the same content guidelines as the writing, fade to black, plot important, or non-gratuitous. 

Both writing and artwork should be submitted to the email fullyautomatedscifi@gmail.com.

All of the writing must be sent as a shareable link for a Google Doc. All of the artwork must be submitted as an attachment in the email.
